Proud Body Works was born when 3 lifelong friends decided to take control of our eating habits. We each looked at ourselves and made a commitment to get the body we were once proud of. Whether it was childbirth, desk jobs, stress eating, we each found ourselves at various stages of obesity, cringing at the reflection of the body staring back at us. “I’ll do better tomorrow” was the day-to-day motto. Until one day, one of us decided to take control. Oksana, after loosing 20 pounds decided to give it back by becoming a health coach. It wasn’t hard, seeing her incredible body transformation, for Luba and Arthur to join the journey to optimal health. And now, with a collective 100 pounds lost, we want to help YOU find the body you were once proud of.

It’s absolutely insane what can happen when you change your lifestyle and diet. I went from constantly hungry, tired, swollen, & uncomfortable … to healthy strong, energetic, confident and happy!

This journey started in January when I decided to get my health back on track!!! It took me a few months with the help of an amazing coach and an awesome program to get myself back on track to a healthier and better version of me. I was always on a chubbier side, however after marriage i’ve settled in and stopped watching my intake. The effect was i gained over 140lbs and literally was the worst version of myself. I didn’t feel any different, but in the back of my mind i knew that my pant size is far exceeding what a healthy version of me should have. I wanted to loose weight but found it difficult to find time to exercise or figure out how to diet.

This is when my friend Luba posted about her incredible success at weight loss. She’s talked to me in a supportive manner and encouraged that i too could loose weight with her methods without any significant lifestyle changes. So I’ve joined.

My first week was the hardest as the change in the calorie intake was difficult to overcome. However Luba was always there to call me and offer support, words of encouragement and experience.

The second week was much easier and by that time my body started adjusting to the new routine, and I felt happier. Within the first month i’ve lost over 16 lbs. Now 14 lbs doesnt sound like a lot, but simply pickup 2 gallons of milk and that alone looks impressive.

I’ve continued with the program and with Luba’s constant advice within 5 month i lost nearly 70 lbs – that is quite a lot and most importantly i didn’t need to change much of my daily routine. That is remarkable.

At this point it’s been over a year and while i am focused on maintaining weight to give my body time to recover and adjust. I certainly feel healthier, happier and rejoice every time i reach into my closet and find old jeans that make me wonder “Why didn’t i do this sooner?”
